The Solar Pro & Power Guru Story

Current Power Guru LLC owner and CEO, Alexander Mintz, moved to Vermont with his family in 2021 to pursue his dream of running a locally-oriented solar outfit in the Green Mountain State. Alex purchased Arlington-based Solar Pro from the company’s founders, Jim and Karen Lee, and got to work. Later in 2021, Alex was approached by Satya Nitta, brother of the late founder of Bennington-based solar company Power Guru, Bhima Nitta, to take the reins as CEO. Fast forward to November 2023–after several years at the helm of Power Guru, Alex purchased the company. Today, Power Guru and Solar Pro have successfully merged and operate under the Power Guru banner, installing solar, battery backup, EV chargers, and more for customers in the Southern Vermont and nearby New York region!
